The Bali International Ophthalmology Review (BIOR) is an international event for Ophthalmologists providing rich Scientific Sessions and Workshops from a renowned Ophthalmologist faculty as well as distinguished special guest speakers from outside the profession. Since its successful launch in 2008, BIOR has established itself for quality, excellence, and professionalism.

Held in an exclusive and intimate setting in magical Bali, the conference offers a valuable learning experience and networking opportunity with world expert speakers, leading corporate sponsors and counterparts from the region and worldwide.

Rather than traditional methods of lectures and symposiums utilized in large and formal meetings which limit interaction, BIOR utilizes workshops providing participants with ample opportunity to interact and ask questions in a relaxed setting. The dress code at BIOR is also strictly relaxed.

The Bali International Ophthalmology Review is organized by KMN EyeCare, in cooperation with Lions Eye Institute, Iladevi Cataract and IOL Research Centre, and the Retina Foundation. The Conference is Chaired by Dr. Sjakon G. Tahija with Dr. Abhaykumar R. Vasavada, Prof. Ian J. Constable and Dr. Manish Nagpal as Co-chairs.

BIOR 2021 ADDENDUM
Circumstances due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have necessitated modifications in holding BIOR 2021. Most significantly, we have switched to an online virtual conference rather than hold in Bali to protect participants’ health and safety. We appreciate your understanding in requiring us taking these provisional actions. We deeply regret not being to all join together in Bali as normal, but look forward to meeting there again at future BIOR’s when circumstances permit.
